Charmful Xuan Dai Bay

Xuan Dai bay stretches along the East coast about 50 kilometers in the area of Song Cau Town and Tuy An district. The estuary – about 4.4 km wide – is in the south of the bay. The bay has a surface area of ​​about 13,000 ha and a depth of from 7m to 18m. Around Xuan Dai bay, a lot of mountains spread out into the water creating small pools with smoothly white sand and rocky cliffs in many unique shapes.

From the southern border of the bay to the interior, there are Den Cliff, Tien Chau fishing port, Red Cliff, Lam pool, Nhat Tu Son ... In the center of the bay, there are small islands such as Yen islet; Ong Xa islet, Nhat Tu Son island. In the north, along Xuan Thinh peninsula, there are lot of pools lying between Dong Tranh Cape, Ong Tuong Cliff and Ba Cliff ...  

From the southern estuary to the sea, there are Dia Rocky Cliff, Lao Mai Nha island, Yen islet (An Hoa) ... and to the north, there are Tu Nham Beach, Hoa Bay, Tram Beach, Nom Beach...

Xuan Dai Bay witnessed many major national historical events. It was the place that ever occurred the fierce naval battles rebelling Lord Nguyen by the Tay Son righteous army, that Minh Huong refugees settled down, did business, that the ship group of the United States diplomatic delegation by Edmund Roberts landed first to visit Dai Nam country in 1832, that Japanese battleships were half-submersible floating half in the Gulf when hit by Allied aircrafts’ bombs ...
