An extract from the speech: in the past 400 years (1622-2011), many forefather generations have been sacrificing to protect, construct the land of Phu Yen. That is the deep-in-heart ethics of “remembering source and being grateful when drinking water”, showing our gratitude to our forefathers. Phu Yen peoples take this opportunity to re-provoke the great solidarity, overcome hardship, challenges, making resolutions to build up Phu Yen more well-off, prosperous”.
