Walking towards Banh Lai river source, to Da Den ( Black Rock) mountain in Hoa My Tay commune, Tay Hoa district, ones can enjoy the Spitting Pit in the superb mountainous and forestry view, forming a picturesque landscape.

 The spitting pit

The current of the Suoi Cai stream pours down a deep pit, creating an immense white waterfall. Below the pit are huge rocks powerfully ejecting the water in the reverse direction. No wonder why trekkers can have a feeling of water being spitted up from the bottom of the Pit. This might well explain why local people call it Spitting Pit. Some places on the edge of the pit are high reefs with steep walls and huge smooth rocks, forming various and imposing shapes for the pit with a surrounding primeval forest.

Coming to the Spitting Pit, travelers will enjoy a charming landscape of mountains and water with many interesting activities such as learning about the ecology, mountain climbing, stream baths, camping….
